Volunteer Interest Form
**Deadline to register to volunteer is October 9!
Qdoba Homecoming Kick-off Monday, October 19, 2009 Head on down to the Goldworth Valley Pond where we will need help setting up and taking down tables and chairs. Assistance will also be needed with the Loaves and Fishes Canned Food Sculpture Contest. Help is needed from about 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., though these time are subject to change.
Western Games Friday, October 23, 2009 Take a stroll down to the Goldworth Valley Pond where the Residence Hall Association needs assistance running the Western Games. Past games included a doughnut/fritter eating contest, tug-o-war, relay race, and a frozen t-shirt wearing contest. Help is needed starting at 10 a.m.., though this time is subject to change.
Soapbox Derby Friday, October 23, 2009 Help out at the longest running Homecoming event at WMU! Help includes, but is not limited to, setting up fencing and fence posts, arranging hay bales at the finish line, and stringing up the finish line. Help is needed from about 9:30 a.m. until the end of the event around 5 p.m., though these time are subject to change.
Volunteers may not need to stay throughout each full event, although we request that you volunteer in two-hour time periods. Under "comments" below, please include time periods you prefer to work as well as any conflicts you may have during the event. (Please note that the times you request are not guaranteed.) The first 50 volunteers who sign up to volunteer will receive a free t-shirt. Volunteers must actually check in and work at the event they sign up before they will receive their shirt.
